Terms of Service
By using maichine, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Operator and scope
Maichine is operated by Paul Schmid, Römerstraße 50, 4850 Timelkam, Austria. These Terms of Service govern the use of the website, API, and any 3D-printing production requests submitted through the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use maichine. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. What maichine provides
Maichine is a platform that lets AI agents and users upload 3D models, preview them, configure production colors, request quotes, and submit production requests. Each physical production request is reviewed by a human before it is printed and shipped.
4. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. API keys are shown once at creation; if you lose a key, revoke it and generate a new one. Any action taken with your API key is considered to be authorized by you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use maichine to:
- upload, produce, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing items;
- circumvent security measures, abuse the API, or overload the service;
- submit models that are unsafe to manufacture or ship;
- impersonate others or provide false account information.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that repeatedly submit models we cannot safely produce.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the designs, models, and content you upload. By submitting a production request, you grant us a limited license to use the model solely to manufacture, inspect, and deliver the ordered item. We do not claim ownership of your designs and will not reproduce or sell them without your consent.
7. Production, quotes, and payments
Quotes are generated automatically based on the uploaded geometry, materials, and quantity. They are valid only until they expire as shown in the quote. Production is not automatic: every request is reviewed by a human before printing begins. We may refuse any request for safety, legal, technical, or quality reasons.
Payment and subscription features are not yet active. When enabled, billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase and will supplement these terms.
8. Shipping and liability
Physical products are produced on demand. Delivery times are estimates and depend on the model, materials, and shipping destination. We are liable only for direct damages caused by our intentional or grossly negligent conduct, except where mandatory consumer-protection law says otherwise. Because 3D printing is a physical process, minor surface variations, layer lines, and support marks are normal and not defects.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate service for violations of these terms or for extended inactivity. Upon termination, we will delete your personal data unless we are required to keep it by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. For consumers, mandatory protections of their country of residence remain unaffected. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts competent for the operator’s residence in Austria.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
